Did you know that Shawnee, Kansas has its own pumpkin patch? This year is the 10th. annual pumpkin patch hosted by the Shawnee United Methodist Church.
There are many shapes and colors of pumpkins to choose from. Some of the activities at the patch include pumpkin painting on Saturday and a photo op area. On Sunday, October 25th. 4-6pm. there will be a trunk-or-treat where kids can trick-or-treat safely by visiting the decorated trunks.
The Shawnee UMC uses their annual pumpkin patch as a fundraiser to support missions they do throughout the year, both in our community and around the world. Some of the ways they volunteer include serving local agencies like food banks, soup kitchens, low-income daycares and nursing homes.
